We hereby inform you that BigOne Investment Ltd. (BigONE Eurasia), a licensed operator of a Digital Asset Trading Facility (DATF) under the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) framework, is currently undergoing temporary system maintenance.
This decision follows a security incident on July 16, 2025, involving the global platform BigONE Exchange, which experienced a sophisticated supply chain attack. Our ongoing investigation has revealed that attackers modified the logic of the account and risk control systems on the production network, enabling unauthorized fund transfers. It is important to emphasize that no private keys were compromised in this incident. Furthermore, BigOne Investment Ltd. (BigONE Eurasia) has not suffered any losses.
Given the substantial similarity between the system architecture of BigOne Investment Ltd. and that of the affected global platform, we have proactively decided to conduct system maintenance operations to minimize operational and cybersecurity risks. This will enable us to:
• Conduct a comprehensive technical audit and vulnerability assessment;
• Ensure that no elements of our local infrastructure have been affected;
• Maintain the highest standards of client asset protection and regulatory compliance.
As an additional precaution, we are conducting system maintenance to facilitate a thorough security audit and to ensure the integrity of our infrastructure. Client assets remain secure.
Throughout our internal investigation, we will continuously keep the Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA) informed and will promptly notify you when the platform is ready to safely resume operations. As of now, trading functionality is expected to resume within the hour. To ensure the security of client orders, we will first enable order cancellation, followed by reopening new order placements 30 minutes thereafter.
Withdrawal services will recommence once system stability is fully verified. Subsequent status updates will be promptly communicated via email.
